Why would anyone take X back?
I've seen and experienced it so many times -- when someone's broken up with you, and you go crazy (ie say mean things, pull crazy stunts, neglect personal hygiene, etc.), how could you possibly expect your ex to take you back? I guess it's normal to go through the gamut of emotions, especially if you are not the initiator of the breakup, but I've seen the extreme.
